The 2020 Trust is licensed to distribute and support ICDL digital literacy products in New Zealand. We have specific funding to target an online digital certificate programme, ICDL, to 7,500 job seekers before the end of 2017. The ICDL certificate targeted to a job seeker audience is funded by a national community grant, is branded “KiwiSkills, Digital Skills for Jobseekers”.
KiwiSkills is delivery through “delivery partners” based primarily in the Auckland region – tertiary education providers and private training establishments (PTEs). The “delivery partner” agrees to provide a training venue, host digital training sessions and have ICDL testers for those job seekers they have attracted under the programme. Each delivery partner is contracted to deliver a portion of our 7,500 job seeker target under a three year agreement with the 2020 Trust.
The role will have the following prime accountabilities:
- Achieving the 2020 Trust’s goals in terms of delivering the KiwiSkills programme to job seekers;
- New delivery partner engagement under the KiwiSkills brand primarily in Auckland as well as other selected regions of New Zealand;
- Client relationship management for existing KiwiSkills delivery partners in New Zealand;
- ICDL brand and market awareness, in conjunction with the Marketing Manager;
- Brand management of KiwiSkills, including website and other branded collateral;
- Alignment with government stakeholder initiatives to develop a more digitally-literate workforce, especially with Work and Income.
We are looking for someone that understands the tertiary and youth unemployment sectors, is able to communicate channel marketing concepts, and likely to have sales based experience in previous roles. They must be a proven relationship manager and flexible to join our evolving work in the digital literacy space.
The Project & Relationship Manager will manage the majority of KiwiSkills delivery partners in Auckland, and others as they come on board across the country. They will help us further clarify the KiwiSkills brand, help build awareness of the ICDL certification in the employment market, and manage the new programme website www.kiwiskills.nz based on appropriate user audiences. There is potential for large scale event-based training to be scoped and led before February 2016.
Reporting to our Executive Director and working closely with the Contracts Director and ICDL Marketing Executive, this role will take on the responsibility of relationship management of the current delivery partners and lead new delivery partner relationships. After enough delivery partners come on board, the role will help with quality assurance audits, coaching and supporting those partners with their targets.
This 12 month fixed term contract role has flexible work-day hours and would be based from home. Travel to meetings outside of your home area will be reimbursed. Some national overnight travel will be required.
