2020 Trust today announced the appointment of Sue West as Auckland Area Manager. Sue is a digital education professional with more than 25 years experience.
“Over the last year, 2020 Trust has significantly increased the number of families and learners in Auckland that participate in our Computers in Homes and Kiwiskills Jobseeker programmes.” says Laurence Millar, Executive Director.
“We plan further increases in the next year, and this appointment will provide leadership in responding to digital inequality specifically in South and West Auckland. Sue will enable us to work more closely with TSI (the Southern Initiative) and with our strategic partner Internet NZ, as well as developing other partnerships in the Auckland area”
Sue is currently Market Development and Digital Manager for Coastguard Boating Education, and has previously worked in primary and tertiary education, as well as leading ICT and eLearning projects
“I am excited to be working with 2020 Trust and using my networks and the 2020 Trust programmes to improve digital access and skills across Auckland” says Sue, who starts in the position on 28 July 2016.
